MagiKats Tuition Centres receive top award!
We at MagiKats HQ are delighted to announce that over the summer we received the top ‘Three Kite’ award from ICAP, the Institute of Children's Activity Providers.
What is ICAP?
ICAP is a professional membership body and community of business owners and leaders operating in the children’s activity sector.
Their aim is to champion best practice, raise standards and innovate, driving positive change and progression across the industry, as they believe the industry has an essential role to play in educating, entertaining and inspiring the next generation.
To be awarded their Three Kite award, members must demonstrate three key areas of business quality; Programme, Compliance and Marketing Communications.
Our Programme
At MagiKats, we are especially proud of our programme. To receive the top score, we had to demonstrate that our programme delivered well planned services and programmes which had a high level of engagement with children and their families. We had to show how our feedback and reporting processes demonstrated strong learning outcomes. We also had to show how we keep up with the changes in school curriculums and adapt over time to keep our materials fresh and relevant. We did it!
Compliance
In compliance, we showed that we have strong polices and legal frameworks in place for our business, including being able to train and support franchisees in staff management. We have a clear business structure, which we pass through to all our Tuition Centres. We also have training in place for things such as safeguarding and first aid.
Marketing and Communications
Marketing and communications was all about how we tell the wider world about MagiKats – something we love doing! Across all our centres we have strong communication channels in place, to make sure that all our students and their families know what’s happening – both with their own programmes and across the wider MagiKats community. We provide extensive marketing and communications materials to all our MagiKats Principals so they can promote MagiKats across their community and make sure their service is known to all families in their local area.
The verdict?
All in all, the award of Three Kites has provided strong evidence that we operate a strong, ethical and community-focussed business. We are extremely proud about this!
