Dynamic Mentor Opens MagiKats Glasgow South
It was when working as a mentor for MagiKats Edinburgh that Ali Mahboba began to envision opening MagiKats Glasgow South. As a former student at Strathclyde University and part-time mentor for MagiKats, Ali’s qualifications; a Masters in Neuroscience and Undergraduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, saw him well placed to understand the pressures facing today’s students, as they embark upon their educational journeys. For Ali, the appeal of the MagiKats franchise opportunity lies in how “our focus goes beyond maths and English support.” Ali believes one of the main differences between MagiKats and other tuition services is the way we “refine and help develop the academic behaviours necessary for success.” Helping students develop their skills in maths and English through individual programmes, combined with excellent tools for general academic success is what made MagiKats the outstanding tuition service franchise opportunity in Ali’s mind.
Community Involvement in Glasgow South
Ali has experience with the local area as a student at Strathclyde, alongside being a member of the breakdancing and hip hop community for the last five years. This gives him access to a large network of people, who, knowing Ali’s charismatic character and passion for his new business franchise means success is sure to follow! Ali believes the keys to running a business include being “highly organised, dedicated and practical” and as he begins to build his enrolments at Glasgow South, he’ll be targeting the areas of Shawlands and Govanhill.
Why Should Glasgow Parents choose MagiKats?
In Ali’s opinion, Glasgow South students requiring maths and English support at school will discover MagiKats “offers continuous support for those who need it, expands the scope for children who want to be challenged and helps develop strong academic foundations.” His aim is to establish a vibrant and thriving tuition centre within Glasgow and his local community.
Networking in MagiKats
Ali told us “a close friend … joined the [MagiKats] franchise and opened up centres in Edinburgh” where he first experienced the MagiKats tuition franchise in action. We are thrilled to have another mentor turned franchisee, and also pleased to see franchise owners talking so positively about the business opportunity MagiKats presents. We are always happy to hear of recommendations from our current franchise owners as to those who might be interested in attending one of our information days to find out about how MagiKats operates as a new business opportunity.
MagiKats Glasgow South runs workshops from its own premises on Bowman Street on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We look forward to seeing interested parents and students, who can contact Ali Mahboba directly at MagiKats Glasgow South on 0141 230 5917, via the website, or visit the centre in person.
